Damn, that picture makes me want an EVO too. I would have bought an EVO if it was MSRP in hawaii. Mitsubishi Hawaii marks up the cars 8-10K.

The law wouldn't nail me for the after-market hood per se. I was implying that they'd see it and say, 'hey, that guy's got some illegal stuff on his car, let's pull him over to see.'

Oooooh. I see where I made my mistake now. I gave the cops credit for seeing that dark colored CF hood and thinking, "That guy had the sense to get a dark colored hood to keep the sun from reflecting into his eyes."

I'm starting to wonder how long it will be before the tree-huggers out there try to get gas-powered cars banned completely.

Oh well, so much for the hood suggestion. There's no point in doing something if it will just get you hassled by people with nothing better to do.
