Heres what happends when you do not get new tires...........

well i was coming around a 90degree turn, lost control, the back end swong out to the right, then to the left, jumped a curb and hit a tree. I was a reck to see my baby in this condition. i wouldnt start, fluids were leaking all over the place, and the police were telling me it was totaled.

BS, when the adjusted came to look at it, he said the car was fixable. around 9g's worth of damage, but hey, insurance is a WONDERUL thing.

So about two more weeks, and Ill have my baby back in brand new condition, i cant wait.

yea, i was ok, the airbags came out but i think it gave me a burn on the top of my head with a big a$$ bump, lol, but other than that, just mentally about my car.

Well see it was only body work and the radiator that has to be replaced, they told me nothing was ruined engine wise but if there was, then it would of been totalled

Just curious, but how was this caused by the tires?

Well as everyone knows the stock tires on the WRX are not the best quality, and mine definitly needed to be replaced. The roads at the time were very slick because it had just finished raining, and as I came around the turn, my tires did not grip the pavement as they were supposed to and the car took off in all different types of directions. The officer was like, "I see you take your car to the track once in a while huh? i told him the truth and said yes, and he said "yea your tires definitly look like there in bad shape to be driving a car of this calibar..........

So if anyone can point me in a good direction for some AWSOME all season performance tires for my stock rims, that would be greatly appreciated.

I have a new set of Fuzion ZRi 225 50R16 on my stock rims.

I love them for daily driving! So much more grip that RE92s or my old Toyo Proxes 4s!

Civics?

I need something that will perform in the snow, rain, and still give me good performance in the spring and summer seasons. Living here in NJ, we get all 4 seasons, but eventually I will be purchasing new rim and tires for summer performance, but i need good replacements for my OEM rims.

Thanks guys

I heard the same thing. You should totally get a civic cuz the stock tires on those are awesome.

How about this: Learn to f'ing drive.

similar thing happened to me last week. I kinda liked sliding aroudn with my slippery tires... oh well. I got lucky.... rally height jumped me over a sidewalk and two bushes and landed "safely". Why is it that people always put up that "scapegoat" ?... if i had read the tirerack reviews for re-92's when I bought my car... I would have put new tires then.
