Wow man, you really out did yourself. Beautiful car. What kind of downpipe is that anyway? Love the 06 body too.

Where did you get those bolts on the turbo to downpipe flange? They look weak to me and they don't have washers on them. I'd replace those before they back out and you waste a gasget.

Looks good otherwise.

/\ good eye....I'd have to agree on getting some better hardware on there.
Had a friend have his DP break loose on him while he was driving due to short bolts....

Needless to say he totally jacked his 180SX up. JDM police were not to keen on the damage to the road either.

1sicwrx and TopMan - Everything on this car, minus ECU reflash and boost controller, is Perrin.
Alex - You really think I should look into that? The shop that installed this stuff is pretty reputable and I don't see them overlooking something so simple, but I will take a closer look tomorrow.

By no means am I questioning your shop's reputation. I am just very **** when it comes to this. The bolts at that flange cannot be just any HomeDepot bolts. They must be strong enough to withstand all the heat variations as long as vibrations. I also guarantee you that "bad" bolts will cease on your very very fast and you will have issues taking them out if you need to.

You really need to use washers on the bolt end or locking nuts or nut + lock washer on the nut side. The bolts with simple "hex" head will also tend to cease very fast.

Like I said, I am very **** down to the last bolt.

Wow, I will keep that in mind if I ever get a chance to inspect it. Thanks Alex!

I actually live a few thousand miles East of the Bay Area, and a mile higher in Elevation.

CO for life.
