I saw that listed which is why I mentioned it, so they should be OK, but I understand too. I do a lot of driving and I keep mine covered up almost all of the time. Even the covers take some pretty big rock hits.

Just bought a LH fender from WRXUSA.COM.
Hats off to Sebastian for driving it all the way up to Sacramento (along with an SUV full of other parts) for no extra charge!
$180 for a MINT fender painted my color.
I just need the RH fender now in WRB to put the whole front end on... then I can start getting the front track wider to match.
Excitement!

The search for pre-painted WRB STi/sedan parts is over!!!
Sebastian from wrxusa.com just hooked me up with a passenger side fender freshly painted just like the drivers side one I got a few months ago.
The price was just as good too!
Wheel well liners are ordered and on the way... as are the JDM clear side indicators.
Just working up the nerve to either cut the pattern or pay a shop to do it.
Wagon will be widebody by the end of the month hopefully!

OK so a quick update...
Picking up the fender liners and clear side indicators this weekend from the dealership.
I also nabbed a set of OEM 07 STI fender braces for $35 shipped off ebay. I figured I might as well if I am going to be in there right?

Harry Maneuvers Braggin Wagon - 03/13 getting ready for the widebody swap
Ok so I am getting everything ready for the widebody swap this weekend.
I just need to cut the holes for the side markers and go to specialized parts planet (now LKQ) to snip a couple OEM Fog light connectors for an OEMish install. haha
https://www.i-club.com/forums/norcal...se-buy-239984/
Im keeping the intake the way it is for now as the car is nowhere near 350 whp and it most likely wont be even after new turbo/fuel/tune (being realistic with budget).
Parts that are ready to go:
- Sedan bumper with Sti splitters installed
- Two perfect fenders
- Two brand new fender liners
- 07 STi fender braces
- STI scoop
- STI fog light covers (most likely for dd)
- JDM Fogs
- JDM Clear side markers
- STI Intercooler shroud/bellow (dont think I would use this with an STI scoop and a WRX intercooler right?)
- Tons of new bumper push rivets and smaller screw rivets
- Primer cut bumper beam
- WRB touchup paint in an aerosol can to paint over the cut bumper beam edges and possibly over inner fender bolts
- wiring shrink wrap, terminals, vampire clips, butt connectors ect
Starting to look for a good deal on a set of Sti lower control arms,... I mean if I am going to widen the front track of the wagon to make it fit the wider fenders, I might as well us slightly upgraded parts.

Well rather than trying to source a set of foglight pigtails.... I went ahead and bought a set of JDM BE/BH amber side markers with pigtails...
So now I have pigtails for a decent install AND a set of JDM amber side markers as extra/backup.
Just ordered the Klein nibbler tool which will be here tomorrow so I should have the fenders cut by Friday night.

Just finished the widebody swap last night. Turned out really well IMHO. The paint is slightly deeper/darker on the newer parts compared to the front doors back. But I was expecting that and it didnt turn out as bad as I thought it would. There are a few sizable dents on the doors so they are going to be the next things to be replaced...oh no here comes the audio itch!
Here you go!
On stands with both fenders/fender liners and bumper removed. Note the overspray on the snorkus. I had suspected that the car had a repaint when I bought it because the end of the muffler can on the back had slight amount of blue paint on it as well as one of the fender liner corners.
Here is the inside of one of the fenders... BINGO! Did a pretty good job considering I still cant tell when I turn it over.
Fender Brace installed:
Came across this capped plug right next to the snorkus/ opening for wiring harness to come through the fender into behind the headlight. Anybody know what it is for?
Here are the final results... Sorry but I didnt take too many pictures of cutting the bumper beam for the JDM fogs as it is the same as all the other posts. I will get pics without foglight covers later today.

I bought some 245/45/17 RE970 Pole Positions for $350 brand new from a guy in Yuba City who had bought them from tire rack (still had shipping labels along with manu stickers) but then sold his Benz.
Considering my clearance was already next to nothing in the rear, I went ahead and installed 5mm Eibach pro spacers.
Drilling the dust shield was fun... so was dremeling the new studs so they could fit through the ABS sensor hole.
IMAG1012.jpg?t=1334541821
I took them to Firestone of Roseville and they mounted, balanced and installed them. Because they were still brand new with stickers, they were even able to get the 40,000 service warranty in my name too!
Figured I would get the lifetime alignment while I was there because three of the 4 were off. Now I have no reason to not tackle widening the front track!
If I hit speedbumps too fast, the rear tire rubs the rubber wheel well moulding... might need to get them rolled here soon.
Anybody know someone in the area who I can go to?
