Ok so here is goes.

I picked up my 2000 2.5rs In October of 2012.
It was bone stock and the guy i bought it from used it as a DD.
It had 135k miles and was a 5speed

Heres a pic when i went to pick it up:

I Then took it home and gave it a tune up and a good wash/claybar/wax. Spark plugs, Oil change, and Replaced the Belts.


A few weeks passed by and I wanted to get rid of that body roll. Thanks to a member on here i picked up my wrx rear sway bar


I was in love with the car after this! Best money i have ever spent on a car. I highly recommend this to everybody as a first mod!

After Have some fun for a few weeks I ran into the first issue with my rs.



I fixed it a few days later.. Turned out that an o-ring poped out of the underbody of the car.
Here it is at my buddy shop getting the bad O2 sensor grinded off because it was stripped:/

 

Then Came my second problem with my rs. Wheel bearings:bonk:
I knew they were going bad when i bought the car but after driving it for a few weeks I really needed to replace them.


Once I got my hubs off and took them to the shop there was another problem....

The bearings were so bad they didnt come off in once piece. More like a million. The outter sleeve of the WB was stuck on the hub


Nothing the press cant fix:naughty:


All Fixed and look what I picked up the day after!! Thanks Skyline!

it was a littlle dirty but hey cant beat a great deal. After a good shampooing and installation here it is.

Then just because, I picked up some 3m Carbon fiber vinyl wrap to do my dash acc.
Turned out good but its starting to sag and lift now:/ I should have added an extra layer of adhesive...



The next day i detailed my engine and Im not a fan of the super crowded engine bay so i decided to clean it up a bit. I deleted the Wiper reservoir and relocated the batter to behind my drivers seat.


After a month of fun with my RSB It was time to step my suspension game up again.
Once again, one of the best buys for my car. I love my springs!!

I had some extra time on my hands after doing my springs and noticed my stock wheels were in horrible shape. I didn't know wheels could have that much curb rash lol. I decided to fix that and spray them white.

Rattle can for the win!

My only beef with the spring was the drop height, but after I drove the car around some turns I can say the ends justify the means

The Next day I got a present in the mail

My AEM CAI came in!! woooo!!:clap:

I wasnt too fond of the sandblasted look the previous owner did to it so I decided to polish it!
After hours and hours of sanding and buffing here it is!

Then I picked up my STi rear seats!! Sti interior swap getting closer, one step at a time.


Another interior piece came in the mail too. My shift ****, I was getting tired of my busted looking stock one so i grabbed this one.


I cant wait for my respray! That rattle canned trunk and wing are uglyyy! I want to finish my exterior first though.

I order some Jdm spats with aero gaurds from jdmgary yesterday and should get them within a week. I want to install them at the same time to knock it out together. I will post pictures when finished!

Last week i finally put my diffuser on! Looks great imo. Spats should come in tomorrow and i will post a pic of those when installed!

Update 2/17/2013

So I got my interior all bolted down and looking good!! I love the STI seats, i just had a problem with them though. My rs seat belts wouldnt fit in the buckle?? So i shaved them down a bit and it ended up fitting fine.



I also go my spats in!! Thanks JDMGARY!!!

My fenders are scheduled for delivery tomorrow however I highly doubt the will come by then. Most likely they will arrive the day after tomorrow

Ok so i have no clue where my fenders are however my fender flares say there in transit to my house.

While im waiting for them I was cleaning my windows. I HIGHLY recommend using this method.

Im going on a photoshoot on monday so I will get more detailed pictures then.

As far as installation goes they were kind of a PITA. Like 3 or 4 of the holes didnt line up. The hole wasnt cut out for the corner lights. The wether stripping didnt line up. Also when I called seibon they said that the fenders didn't have hole for the side markers but it turns out they did have a cut out for them. Other than that I love them!!

Woooo!! Got my clear turn signals and clear side markers in today!!

 

OK SOOOO NOW IM ALL CAUGHT UP

Haha no. Its a love or hate kind of think I know.

 

Mismatched body panels don't work. You have to go all CF or all painted blue. Anything in between looks like junk yard parts you didn't repaint.
