It's not a scoop. It's the little flap that opens up.
The one on typeRA.

I hear you can get used Ohlins coilovers from people selling them in Japan for like $500 .....Just out of curiousity, how much was the car to begin with (PM me if you don't wanna post it). Mine is a 93, but it was already AWD, had somewhat high miles and cost me under $2k . I would say NO to putting the roof vent on, but that is just my own opinion. Still a very very nice WAGON!!!!
My story, wanted an Impreza coupe, didn't buy one. Wanted a sedan, didn't buy one. Wanted a wagon, bought one and glad I did since there isn't many around of the older ones, plus making a replica of a Version 2 wagon is what I am doing. You should check out Trent's wagon, I think his name on here is dmsawd or something to that affect. He has a nice white wagon as well, w/ a Ver 3 STI transplant in it.

OHLINS are still going over $1000 even for used one in japan.
Of course depends on condition but haven't seen it for $500 yet.
Overhauling coilovers are about $100 each usually so it ends up around $1000 anyways...
$500 is more like used TEIN HA price.

Other suspention I am considering is KeiOffice GU, CUSCO zero2R, TEIN RA

You got a good deal on your car, mine was more expensive and was FWD. I wanted white wagon stick shift in California so this car was perfect for me (except for the FWD issue). I still think I was lucky to be able to find this although it was more expensive than prices in other states.
Old Impreza is extremely rare in Cali. Mine was brought over from Virginia.

I don't know Trent. Does he have a steel grey metalic one?
I've seen JDM EJ20 powered wagon in old school i-club long time ago.
More than a year ago I think.
There is nice yellow wagon with SYMS front end here in LA.
I haven't seen it in person but my friend saw it.
And there is Ver4 looking wagon in LA too. I have seen this one.

Good luck on your Ver2 wagon project. That's original.

I'm debating if I should put on roof vent... Cutting roof is scarly
To me, gold rims, DCCD, and roof vent is simbolic items for Impreza.
Those are the items unique to Impreza and no others have. I know no wagon had the roof vent though.

And on the cheap used coilovers, I will ask the guy who told me about the used prices...he got some used ones in Japan for a friend, Ohlins for $550. I think he has Cusco Zero-2's and he got them for like $450....This was about 6 months ago too, so who knows. I will find out and point you in the right direction.

Cool

3xGo

That's a really lovely wagon you built up there! I really like it
As Subaru never sold a Ver.6 here in Europe, I am trying to build one up myself too
Will look mostly the same as yours (except for the specs of course ).
Can you post some more pics what your ride looks from the side an rear?
My planed mods should be finished in 1-2 months. Will be happy to present you the Ver.6-style Scooby from Europe

This is how it looks right now

Regards,
Matt

go go go do you have any pics of the rear? I really like your car. I'm hoping to do the same to my black wagon L. Can you direct me to a good place to find similar parts maybe not ver6 but earlier versions? Let me know. Thanks.

I didn't know that Europe never had Ver6.
Did Europe ever got STi ver#?? or was STi called simply WRX STi without version numbers?
Your black wagon is sweet.
that headlight washer thing is so Euro spec.

I just took a pic of the rear of my car

Both STi wings + rear spats + aero splash guard

still have US bumper but it doesn't bother me that much.

Ohhh, I forgot but I have the JDM roof antenna too.
I don't think I'll ever install that one.
My stereo is JDM too = no radio reception in US, hehe

@go go go

thanks for the pic

Sad, but Subaru Europe never sold any STi versions of the classic shape impreza (first STi was the bug-eyed Ver.7). I'm not sure about the UK though. You see some earlier STi-Versions there, but could be JDM imports.
