Cobb assemble the engine one time, it is his stage 3 semi close deck block with o-ring, crower rods, je pistons, stage II heads with ferrea valves, upgraded springs and retainers, stock metal head gasket, stock head bolts, turbo cams.
The first engine I receive blew in short time, I was getting real 25% lower oil pressure than what I am getting since he "fixed" with a new crank, by the time, he managed to overbore a little bit more the cyl walls as they resulted a little bit damaged due to rod bearing shaving to the oil system.
The static compression is quite low for this 2.5, 125 psi.
The knock thresshold is quite low at 17 psi onm 95 ron+mon/s octane, and 400 WHP is quite good for this FP3065, spool up comes on 3800rpms to full at 4200.
I am installing the dasteks rev limiter unit, I hope it works well to at least 7200 rpms in order to take advantage for this big turbo.
One interesting thing is that at 97 (volumen setting) on the blitz boost control, gain set to 25 I can only get 17-18 psi from my system, wich consist on a hks FMIC, Fp3065, big hks 60mm wastegate.
I will try raising the gain on the blitz, and some other stuff with the hoses to and from the boost control selenoid, I need to get at least 25 Psi for our power goal without nos...

On the dyno it shows me full boost (17psi by this time) 4300 rpms, but I havenŽt played with the BC gain.
The coating of the header is starting to get loose, egts were seen as high as 990C for a short period although runing on the righ side (cyl #3, at the chamber exit).
I am finishing water injection tomorrow and weŽll see how well we manage that situation, then nos injection.

The car is in great shape, finishing water inujection installment as well as nitrous, nest weekend we have a nice drag racing event, so weŽll see what this car is capable of,
