I can assume that if that is the final, there will be a few aftermarket bumpers and hoods to fix the fuglyness that Subaru has headed towards. I like Alfa's, but keep the STi lookin tough.

the grille doesnt look as bad any more... it looked worse when they had the more aggressive look w/ the huge hood lines following the grille. I said I would never want one if it looked like that, but the new picture looks pretty damn good

lets wait until next season in WRC - they have been debuting the new designs prior to production... it still looks a little too close to previous gen... i'm pretty sure the rims will be updated though.

That front end looks better than the one you showed us before, that one looked way too much like the grill thats on the B9 Tribeca. (Hah I said the same thing on RS25, ahh Im such a loser) It will probably grow on me once I see it in person, I remember seeing the 04-05 STI front and thinking what the hell is that, but after I took a look at it at the dealership I began to like it.

You know guys...when the concept pictures of the Evo came out...people said the exact exact same thing....people would take off the triangle part...or the grille and just make it look like the 7, but then...only a handful of people took them off, most of them kept it stock. so ..if it does come out like that..most people will definitely still buy it cuz its a STi, and yes it is not as good looking as the older version...but thats not gonna stop people from buying it.

I think it is great looking! I am glad they changed the headlights from the first draft we saw though, they just didn't look right on the car.
I didn't buy my bugeye cause I thought it looked good though....

I love it!! It's beautiful!
The doggie-nose grille isn't great, but c'mon!! It looks SO much better than the Tribeca grille! You must at least admit that.
And the lights are nice and sharp. No more weird shapes and circles.
Can't wait to buy mine

And I think this is the new 06 Impreza. Since I just talked to one of Subaru Canada's managers last week, who said a facelifted Impreza will arrive this year in Japan first, and then arrive in North American this August.
All the facts fit together.
