I beat an old-beater CRX, Audi A4 1.8T, and my friend in is '86 Merc Sable
I am definitly going to get good tire on these rims (and summer tires on new rims ) for the next event...I was understeering like a *****!!

Stock

I'm all stock right now (beside intake silencer removal)...I'm planning on doing suspension upgrades next spring (along with the wheels and tires)...I'm building a house right now so I don't have any extra money for the REX

The only way I was able to get sideways (to try to overcome the understeer) was in the faster sweepers...

I removed the silencer by follow the directions on scoobymods.com

I decide to go with the (optional) velocity stack to clean up the appearence and avoid having to "hack" the silencer. I also left the air scoop on and added a 3" rubber hose (from HomDepot) to keep it from moving around.

I do plan on going to coilovers rather than increments with springs (on stock struts) then performance struts, etc...

I wish I would have gotten a WRX
There was an older guy at the rallycross in his 99 legacy GT and he was gettin SIDEWAYS pretty good! He finished 6th, I think!?

The guy that won was in a mid-90 impreza with good rally tires so he had the advantage over everyone else (I don't think anyone else was prepared for the constant rain)..

Nice escort!
No, I didn't mean that was the 86 sable in the picture...that was another competitors car - he did really well.
(I don't have any pics of the Sable)
