After a fun day of pounding the Denver streets it was time to take a break and reflect on the whoopins that had just been given to a poor little White Evo...

you're car is the hawtness!!!! I love the Red WRX on golds... I would suggest painted side skirts for your next mod. Believe me, they make a huge difference in appearance.

thanks for the comp..
Thanks for the comp. Actually Side skirts are in the plans after I get through this winter, along with a Carbon fiber hood and possible Sti Wing in the rear. Wish subaru would get a red STI on the Menu.

ixnay on the CF hood. The car is soooo clean and smooth right now, I can't see the CF hood keeping the same look. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but your car has a nice understated look, and with the painted side skirts would be perfect. The hardest part about doing customization is knowing when to stop
Beautiful car.

IMO, I think that your car would look cleaner with the stock hood, but the STi wing would be a nice touch... really, all you need are the side skirts. but its your car and its still hawt!

I agree
I agree,
My reason for going carbon fiber is the insane amount of chips in the paint. I would not be overstating if I told you that I have over 200 chips on the front of this car. I have given up tring to keep up on them.
One of the problems with colorado is they love to Sand (Gravel) the roads constantly. Then you add the cement crash barriers and you get a constant wild tunel of sand blasting. I drive over 100 miles every day on the highway so the result has been terrible on the front end.
I am hoping the Carbon fiber holds up better. Any other ideas would be great. Tried the Clear Bra on my 02 WRX but that started to get a hazed look so I am a little worried about that, but maybe I got a bad batch the first time.
Cheers folks

ps i live in truckee, and am also in the same boat as far as the paint chip thing. i am thinking carbon as well as some 3m tape on te carbon to cut down on the chips.

I was wondering when some one would ask about the bell mouth on a HKS Downpipe.
Well I guess that was a little misleading. I know the owners of "All Star Muffler" in Brighton, CO. THey took my HKS Pipe and welded a Bellmouth from a Sti that already had a after market exhuaus but wanted a different one for some reason. The original bellmouth pipe they cut it from did have some wierd bends so that may be why he got rid of it, his loss my gain.
Oh they did a complete custom exhuast 3" thick pipe from the downpipe to the tail for $150. thats a heck of alot better then some bolt on kit for $500 if you want my opinion. Lots of people complement on the sound it really does sound like a loping v8 at idle.
If you need there number let me know.
Oh the springs droped the fron about 2" and the rear about 1.5
The rims are 18 X 8. Offfet I am not sure but will check for you. They tuck in perfectly and have a very little rub during really hard corners with three or more in the car.
I regards to the Spec C , I saw that one on the cover of one of the performance mags the other day. I beat them by a year on the red on gold style, bet i will see more now. LOL
Cheers
