Just wondering if the evo was a horrible driver or what?....Not trying to hate on you because I have a subaru as well. With the list of mods you have, I find it suprising that you'd be able to beat an evo.....Just wondering though

Don't know about the driver, but he gave it a good run.
An evo is not some devine offering from god or anything. Its just a car. and for every car there is a car that will beat it.
276 hp or whatever an evo has is not that hard to overcome. Heck the displacement is the same as a Rex just better tuned and some other fun things thrown in the mix.
I think I am at around 300hp or so. So that seemes to have evened the playing field.
Don't get me wrong there are a bunch of mean ones out there and a boat load of nasty STI's (being that colorado is the STI capital of the universe) That will woop my cars ***, howver for every 1 that is modded there are 10 that have not. I just happen to have run into quite a few of the second.

I thought about a c/f hood as well, but I don't think I'll be doing it. It just doesnt' seem to go with the car. It seems if I did that I would have to do more exterior mods as well. I just like my car simple and clean. I'd follow your fellow WRX buddies advice and paint the sideskirts and be done with the outside.
