Springtime means new wheels (yeah, I know, I know).
SSR GT2. 18x8.5, ET48. 235/40/18 Toyo T!-R's. Tein Flex. Front and rear fenders rolled and pulled.
These will not fit on your stock-fender car with lowering springs, to put it mildly. My rear fenders are in the neighborhood of 3/8" out, and the fronts are pulled around the same amount. It looks like an easy fitment because the car has had a lot of fender work over the years without the usual "flare lip" you get on an aggressive pull. I still have fender liners, and I don't rub.

That N1 was a prototype built for a 99 RS waaaaay back in the day. My buddy had it laying around his garage and so we put it to good use. No clue on size, though, other than that it was massive and didn't muffle much..........the car was registering over 110dB at 4000 RPM, and that was just a rev in a parking lot, not under load

She's finally back home where she belongs. Back in June, the wagon got hit in a parking lot. Dropped her at the body shop, got her back and gave her to a buddy the next day as his car was down with a blown motor. Two weeks later, the hoopty blew HG's.....welcome to 2.5 DOHC ownership. Decided I was done with patching it together and did it right. New shortblock, completely rebuilt heads. It's funny breaking in a new motor on a car with 270k on it. Car runs awesome, I'm ecstatic to have it back. Thanks, as always, to Paul at DBTuned in Roseville, CA.
Of course, tossed on one of the new sets of wheels.
Enkei RC-T4, 18x8.5ET48, with a 245/35/18 S-Drive. I dialed in the plates in front - no rubbing so far wit ~2 degrees out front, but we'll see. These are probably going to a buddy for his WRX project; they barely fit on the wagon, and while they look the business, I have a few other sets I like just as much, will fit easier, and I don't mind banking some cash.
