More new toys......
Got my SDR's back from powdercoat. They came out so nice, I almost feel guilty using them as winter wheels, they're better than my summers
I'm going to mount them up after SEMA.

And....Tein hood struts. They're specific to this body-style, WRX ones don't fit, as I found. Near impossible to get the damn things, Tein said noone stateside had ever asked for them.
My prop rod was banging around all the time anyways, and these allow you to dive into the engine bay a little easier. Plus, they look pimp, and will complement the green from my new coilovers
On the installation side, it took longer to open the box and assembe the struts than it did to bolt them on. All factory mounting points, no mods required. Definitely worth the price.
Bling shot!

And, my car is about 200 miles away from 200k, which is where it will stay for a while as we get going on the swap after we get back form Vegas. Will hopefully have everything done before Christmas. I'm gonna have to start a new thread......

Holy cow, an EJ20T Outback sounds like the coolest thing Ive ever heard. Cheers to one of the most original project cars Ive ever seen. Can't wait until Im rich and can afford to start some kinda sick project like this. You shoulda opted for the JDM STi engine, that beast woulda been sick with a 6spd. Oh well, still, much props to an awesome idea.
umm...wow...that's all I can say after looking through those last 8 pages and drooling wishing I had the money and time to do all this. Nice work though Aaron!

Hells no, two-tone for life
At one point many years ago, I really wished the car was one color, but it's really grown on me.
I'm an old-school jdm fanboy at heart anyways, so two-tone cars, black trim and all that get me goin'
Plus, the finish on the lower doors is bombproof, and takes much less abuse from rock and sand/dirt spray than normal paint.
The car is parked outside 24/7, too, trying to keep this much black clean is hard enough.........
It's an outback, why hide it?
