CTI ONE
A friend of mine recently purchased this car from Hoffines(sp?) Subaru in Texas. We flew there from CT then drove the car back 1600 miles, made it back in 26 hours heh 
Its the first Cobb Tuning Impreza.

it's a cool ride, but I really don't see the point of spending so much on something that's not really that unique. first of all, not that many parts are actually developed by cobb.
second of all, I've done calculations before, and if I buy the exact part and install myself, or even let my technician do it, it'll be wayyyy cheaper to have the exact same set up.

where i live, this car is unique.....duh most of the parts aren't made by COBB, but they did a good job of selecting other company's parts to put in it. obviously it will always be cheaper to buy a part & install yourslef than have a tuning company do it for you.........i thought that was fact

I don't know how much you paid for it, but from what I remember, the brand new price that listed on Cobb's old website is just straight rip off.
it was like 6-7K above the stock ones.
if you have 6 or 7K more money, why even bother to buy an 2.5RS?

True - $7,200 to be exact (who knows why so steep), if i had the extra on top of the RS's value, i would've gone for something else. but i got it second hand with 17,000 miles on it, and i only paid 17 grand. so i basically paid for a stock RS and got the COBB package as if it were a luxury tax the first guy paid off. so good deal for me
