thanks for the compliments guys!
i should have gone with the 712's, but got a good deal on the Goodyear Eagle RS-A
my commute is huge so long lasting tires was a priority for me...
and im so impatient, i went with the RS-As instead of having to wait for the 712's...
i love them nonetheless!

and now that i did it, im not too sure about the chrome lug nuts. do you think black ones would go better with the gunmetal?

Gawd, those wheels are SICK!!!
Anyhow, the chromies don't really stand out or anything so I definitely wouldn't say they look bad. I think there a pretty good chance blackies would look a bit better. Maybe. But then again I haven't seen them in person. But whatever you do, DO NOT GET the kyokugens. I think they're made out of lead they're so soft. And come to think of it, if the lugs don't look bad and really aren't noticable, is it worth spending $70 on new ones? Just my 2 cents. BTW those wheels are SICK. Did I say that already?

well, to each his own. i myself cannot stand wheels that have chrome or polished rims. they attract too much attention and would look like crap if you actually used them aggressively. tarmacs are great looking wheels that blend in with the styling of the car and don't stand out. the rotas are also cheap, very strong, and reasonable light. if you scratch one up in the gravel or going off at the track, you're not going to have a scratched up surface that was supposed to be polished chrome. you're gonna have a dark grey wheel that's still dark grey. it just has some scratches on it. i realize that those previous statements may not make much sense to some people, but i think you should be able to get the gist of what i'm trying to say.

thanks again for your input Steppin Razor!, i will prolly have to spend some time photoshoping the black lugs in before i can justify that $70... but glad to hear that you dont think the shiney ones stick out...
and thanks theprod,
there are ALOT of people that buy and like rotas for all the reasons Steppin Razor mentioned above. but i REALLY appreciate you taking the time to tell us how much you dont like my new wheels.
or
you could have started your very own "i hate these plain rotas" thread.
