frankly, I'm selling because I'm a mod addict! All I do is continue to come up with things to spend money on, and it's breaking me. I'm cutting my losses and selling while it's still worth a good chunk of change.

nice work fella
hey, looks good mon! can you elaborate with some details on your headlight conversion? I know the basics... in the oven, 180degrees, clear side up... reglue... blah blah... I've seen two in person, and they both had condensation inside the lenses(granted, i'm in oregon, and its damp here...) how'd you pull it off so clean? and WHAT are the parts you used to make the little gray rings on the blinkers??? DO TELL!!! i did a bunch of searching and the best i could come up with was a fitting off of a sink p-trap and a lens i found at some weird electronics store. yours looks great though, so what'd you do man, c'mon tell... later, looks good!

send me your lights, I'll do 'em for ya!!
OK, first - not getting condensation. Before you reassemble, put the back half back in the oven for 5 mins or so to soften the sealant that's already there. Then, get some exterior grade black silicon sealant and add a small bead right in the groove. Press the halves back together carefully and - bam, GTG.
The mod is called the "Koji" mod, after a clubwrx member. The blinker piece is a 1/2" x 1/4" Schedule 40 Bushing. The piece itself comes with a nicely finished/slightly rounded front edge. The back has a rim on it that I lopped off at my table saw. The exact paint job on it is my own idea. First, I painted the inside and the front rim metallic silver. I let that dry really well, then put some masking tape over the front and back openings and painted the outside of the section graphite, same as the rest of the headlight. Then, you just epoxy that little sucker right where the orange bulb condom used to sit. It fits perfectly on a little recessed rim. Yeah, I think the effect r0x0r5! - the silver not only provides better reflection of the blinker bulb (now that it doesn't have the bezel to reflect off) and also gives you that little "ring" look from the front.
Thx for the props...........now who wants to buy it?!!?

so what are you gonna get after this? Because if you think a new car is the way to cure the mod bug then you sadly mistaken. Once you've been biten its all over.

thanks for the pick me up! Seriously, I know Audis are too expensive, that's why I don't plan to ever get on that train. I modded the Suby because, let's be honest, unless you get off on "reliability," the enjoyment comes from making a rocket-fast go-kart! I plan to simply enjoy the luxury and stock power of the S4........
