Actually tint is Federally mandated. Some states, such as Nevada and Arizona don't enforce it due to the heat, but they can, it's required by the Feds that they have a law about it ....but in California, if the Po-Po pulls you over, you can get a ticket for ANY tint on the front windows...even if it is CLEAR. Most officers will give a fix-it ticket if you are cool about it. The only tint that is allowed on the front windows is Factory installed, actually between the sheet of glass. The rears can be DARK. I have Limo on mine. The only requirement is that you have a two rear-view mirrors. The right and left on the outside of your car suffice. In summary, if you have it on the fronts, it's a matter of time...it's up to you if you want to pay for the tint, be pulled over at the wrong time (it's always the wrong time) and go through having it taken off and the tix signed off. From my experience, it will happen, eventually. It looks good though, can't deny that!

I have my front driver and passenger windows tinted at 25%. www.cardomain.com/id/jhong567. I got pulled over about 3 weeks ago. I had my tints on for almost 10 months. Sucks. Now i'm trying to decide what do to, should i redo the tints or not... what do you guys think?
Well I have 20% "all the way around". And the strip in front. My car is black as HELL. Fog covers, painted lights. But I went with the gold wheels. SSR.
I live in Nevada, never been hassled in the 4 months I've had it.
I love the way it looks plus less heat on the interior objects, shift **** , steering wheel, etc..

I got mine done 25% on all the passanger windows and 15% on the rear windshield. I used to have the back even darker but found i couldn't see a damn thing out it at night, so i re-did it. But i like dcfc went for the black out thing with dark wheels and the tint. I like it though... I also have cf side markers now and its lowered too. I really need some new pics.....

Your the first one that I have seen with 25%... how much lighter is it from 20% if you know? Do you also have any other pics as well!

i'm in so. CA, and i have 5% on the rear & rear side windows, 50% on the front side windows, no tint on front window. you can see pics at http://homepage.mac.com/kstiggger/PhotoAlbum18.html and links up top.

A friend of mine has 20% on his and the only time i can really tell a diffrence is when there's sunlight right on it's or under a light at night and stuff like that. Overall its a pretty small diffrence but it is a little easier to see out my windows at night. Here's another pic....

There actually Nippon Racing wheels and you'd have a hell of a time findin em. From what I hear there pretty rare. BUt ya i just wanted to go with something a little diffrent then just the same old 5 spokes that everybody has (not that those don't look good),I just wanted to be diffrent. I actually get a lot of mixed opinions on them but i like them, and thats what matters

sorry for the Huge picture but this is the only nice picture I have.
I have 35% in the front and 5% in the rear in California, I have gotten a Ticket for my tint, but the reason he stopped me was for modified exhaust...I have not been pulled over just for tint..

i know im kinda bumping this thread but oh well....
i just got 18% all around and i havent got any sh*t for it. but then again ive only had it for like 2 days.
oh well i know i will though cause the cops in my area are jack off's. all they pretty much do is break up parties, and give out worthless speeding and mod tickets. god i hate them!!! sorry for lashing out its just that they make me soo mad.
