Granted subarus are very very good cars, but F u guys, i feel bad for the people that were in them, not the cars. I'm 17, I have a wrx, and i cant even imagine that if any of you were 16-18 yrs, and you were offered a WRX or STI for free, you would say..."no dad, its too fast for me, im scared, buy me a slower car with better gas mileage and is more common, i would like that better."

wat there trying to say is that those ppl driving the cars didnt kno what they were getting into. my parents spent $3,000 on me for driving lessons. and not just highway/street. i went to a race track and did skidding, and defensive driving skills. i got to drive a stang and thought i was all good until i nearly crashed it into a wall at 90 mph. i kno im not that great a driver and i am only 16, but i think i can handle an sti and i wont be racing it either.

 

I just turned 18 in August 03........i got my 03 RS in September of 02 when i was 17.......i learned how to drive in a 97 Merecedes Benz E320........and in an 02 Ford Explorer.......i have not been in an accident or pulled over......*knock on wood*..........on the first snowfall of the year....the year i got my license my stepfather took me to an open parking lot and told me to spin the car and get out of it.........i constantly go off roading with the car because i live in the pine barrens of south jersey..........i have learned to understand how the RS handles and i know how and won't press its limits unless i have to.......the fastest i drive is when i'm responding to fire calls..........don't flame 16-18 year olds just because their parents bought them a car..........take myself for instance........the reason my parents bought me a brand new car is because......i've been a volunteer at the fire department since i was 14.....(as a junior...and now that i'm 18 as a full firefighter)..........i am going to be attending college........i get good grades........atleast a 3.5 GPA.........i have multiple courses and awards....for instance the spring i am signed up for RIT Ops, Truck company Ops, and Vehicle Extrication 1........and simply put i'm not a bad kid........you have to know the person to judge them.....so please STOP......yes there are some kids out there that get their parents to buy them a brand new STi so they can rice it out, street race, then get themselves killed but they would do that in any piece of junk that they could get their hands on.......sorry about going off here but i just am getting sick of the older guys flaming the teens.........NOT ALL ARE BAD
