After lurking on the board for a while I finally made a purchase. Great information out here. Picked up the car 14 hours after they took it off the truck. Had 4 miles on it . Here are some quick and simple pictures of it.










I would advise everyone to not pass judgement on the 06 until you see it in person.

 

im sure it's a great car, but i'm still not a fan of how it looks.

i definately need to see it in person.

 

these are starting to grow on me... just like the 04/05's did

 

black is definitely the color that i would go for. It hides the grill a little bit Congrats on the purchase.

 

the last picture i had to take a second look cause i thought it was an evo 8........i dont think this car will ever grow on me. i think the only thing i like is the extra stabilzer thingy on the bottom of the car in the rear

 

I really think they look good now and I have yet to see one in person...I really need to see it in person. and yea, black looks sick!

i kinda like how the back doesn't have a big SUBARU on it.

 

I still don't like the grill, but the extra handling goodies do intrgue me, i.e. electromagnetic center diff, underbody diffusers, etc. Have you driven the 05 STi, how would you compare it to the 06?

I have not driven an 05. I drove an 04 for a day. It was a used car I was thinking of buying. Seems to be a lot different from the 06. I am trying to be reasonable for the first 800 to 1000 miles so I can't really compare yet.

That is what the sticker said.
