congrats! My first Suby was an 03 4eat, sometimes i wish i still had it when I am stuck in traffic. There are quite a few mods you can do to get rid of some of that lag. My first mods were an uppipe,dp and catback, adds about 30 hp to it.

It's not something you want to use on the street but rather doing the 1/4 mile.
It helped me greatly.

BIG GUN: Uhh, if you've got a project, you're supposed to start your own thread and post pics of the car, not post in someone elses.
I made you your own thread and removed your post from this one. Thanks.

Suby Automatic
I am sorry, I didn't mean to hijack the thread. The intent was to suppliment what else can be safely done with a 4EAT tranny in a Suby.
I was a Baaaaaad boy, and stand corrected.

i'm still running the stock td04 turbo but with cobb stage 2 reflash I'm boosting basically as soon as I hit the gas and reach about .10bar by 3200 or so. I keep debating on whether or not I want to go up to the stage 2.5 with the vf34. I really like where it is now...doesnt have me second guessing my auto choice as much now that i'm out of a city with constant stop and go traffic.
