2.5i wagon playing in the snow

Is there a snow thread? I remember seeing one waaaaaaaaay back, but if not we MUST make a new sticky, since Scoobs are so f-ing amazing in the snow/ice

07 2.5i spt wagon playing in the snow (i LOVE my car, omg *creams pants*...there is so much ice on the roads out here, but it won't stop us at all...)...one day when I can afford it...WRX or STI, but for now if this car was a lady, I'd have 12+ kids with it

I have an 07 2.5i sedan.. I love it to death!!! plus being able to use 87 octane and getting around 30 mpg on the highway is always a plus!!

Thanks Midnite!

Urban, you using 87 or 89? Heh, out here 87 is WAAAAAAY more expensive than 89, and w/ 89 I'm getting close to 30 mpg too :P. Our cars rock!

I heard that gasoline in it's normal form comes as 89 octane, where as with 87 octane, they have to modify the fuel to make it 87 octane. It just costs more to manufacture.

Wow that looks real good. I especially like how the headlights stand out from the black.

1sicwrx - Yeah man, that totally makes sense. 89 is good with me :P

AVAWRX - Hahaha, hell yeah! The only thing I hate about owning a Subaru now is actually being able to drive at normal speeds when there's fresh snow, while everyone else is going 35 mph in a 55 zone. Heh, "SUBARU COMING THROUGH, MOVE PANSIES!" All I'm thinking of for now is sound, wheels, and tint when finances allow for it: new deck and a sub, probably something black with chrome trim for wheels...I LOVE black on black cars. Maybe later down the road I might play with exhaust, intake, etc., but this car is great as is.

dSpec - Thanks man! Yeah, when the first 06's came out I didn't really like the new headlight style, but now I love em. They look pissed :P
