SNOW, SNOW... who's gonna go?

I figured we could use one of these threads. The snow is falling and it will be a great weekend, if you don't mind treading snow with your AWD I love it how a little snow scares everyone else off, haha.

So who is headed to a resort this weekend? Kirkwood has a limited opening tomorrow (I AM THERE) and I know Boreal is open. Anywhere else? Anyone going??

No worries. If you had the skis this weekend there is a chance you might scape them up on the light coverage. Waiting a week or more will be good, till there is better snow coverage.

i bought chains for all four and i used them in the front only... i was on half worn R92s and chained up after a close call...

i would take chains if your not on snow tires .... one set should do uless your going to tahoe.. or something..

So we do need chains right?
I'm thinking of driving in the snow for the first time. I have prokit springs and 17inch subzero's. Do you think I should throw the stock rims back on? I don't want to mess up the car so I am thinking of all the reasons not to drive it up there.
