I got the EGT and oil temp (they were out of oil pressure). The EGT install was pretty easy. The only hard part was cutting through the heat shield. I ended up using a hole saw to allow the EGT probe & wire to go through the heat shield and into the manifold for cylinder 1&3. I'll take a pic and post it later. I'm still waiting on the oil plug for installing the oil temp sensor which will screw right into the block. I wrapped the sensor lines in a wire loom and ran it into the car through the gussetted hole under the I/C. I tapped into the clock wires to power the link and everything else plugs in and ready to go.

Hey I got a question and it might sound kind of dumb but when you took off the subaru badge off the trunk did it leave holes you had to patch up or was it just 3M'ed up there? I'm thinking about debadging my sti.

it was really easy to do, I used a blowdryer and some dental floss and it came right off. no holes or anything... its just a couple pieces of chrome-ish plastic glued onto the trunk lid.

update:
finally got the shifter bushings in 2 weeks ago and installed a blitz sus intake. your can really hear the turbo spool now. i also picked up a cusco heat shield and a blitz oil filter sandwich plate for the oil temp/pressure sensors. i'm looking to get sway and strut bars next. hopefully when my tax return comes in the next few months, i can get my cusco zero-2r's.

i decided to somewhat stop modding my car for now. i want to keep my stock suspension setup until i become a better driver. i figure if i learn how to drive on the stock setup, when i upgrade i'll appreciate the suspension mods more. i'll probably just be spending my money on tires for now. to date, the only other thing i've installed is a radiator shroud and harness bar (harness will be ordered shortly). i may get some sort of engine management, but i'm not completely sure yet (or have the funds).

btw, the harness bar does make the car a little stiffer.
