v7 splitter works very well, however when I trimmed the rubber, it was pressing against the fins too much (I could feel the resistance when closing the hood).
I went back and forth refitting and trimming, but the TXS intercooler sits VERY close to the scoop.I trimmed the rubber shroud to fit the front and sides and used the
auto stripping tape at the back. It fits PERFECT. No wind howling, no hood closing resistance and no bent fins. I dont care if it looks ghetto it works!

You can see the imprints of how close the ic sits to the splitter.

(Im very surprised how it auto stripping holds up to the heat).

Bling mods

Sooooo...after the intercooler and tune I have pretty much maxed out the stock turbo (powerwise) without changing to a race octane map or water/alky injection...and have my suspension dialed in to my daily driver liking....

Next up are my 'bling' mods

STi floormats

How do you like your struts? Are they adjustable? I'm still on my stockers and looking to upgrade those soon along with top hats. Nice top mount.

Yea, looks wayy better w/ painted skirts. Stupid subaru should of done that from the factory. I might have to repaint mine next year, I got a small chip on one of em. But yours are oem so should last longer than black ones getting painted.

I like them, no they are not adjustable. Supposedly the kyb-gr2's are about 15% stiffer than stock. If you want to upgrade, look into the kyb-agx struts.

I went gr2's because I would never adjust them (price was good too ). They are pretty much stock replacements...15% stiffer is just about perfect, they also match well with the prodrives from all that Ive read. If I ever change them, I would get some Koni inserts...Konis and prodrives are supposed to be killer! Too much money though.

Thanks! I got the guages and autometer replica bezel from J-Spec tuning....I also got my painted scoop from him.

Here is a pic of the guages in action -- gotta love 16-18lbs of boost by ~3000rpms
