I wanted to make some turbo lamps for my home and was wondering if anyone has 1 or 2 broken turbos that I can have to start my creation. Your donation will be greatly appreciated. Let me know what you have and where you could meet up for me to pick them up.

ive seen a lot of these come up. where members want to get random hsit together to make something beautiful and creative. my self included. i been thinking about the table idea (engine).

maybe a thread should be started like "Mechanical Minds Donation and Barter Thread" thatd be dope. people post they have, want, are planning to do, etc.

I think that sounds like a great idea. I think the boxer motor would be great for a glass table top.

 

I've a busted TD04 I bought to practice PnP on. After I get through with that, if you still need one, it's yours.

This might be the impetus to actually start cooking. I've the die grinder and a coarse bit, just keep missing going to pick up some flap wheels and cross buffs on the weekend.

awesome! curious, is it a fixed table? or does the crankshaft actually spin? thatd be awesome! the table itself is totally awesome! lol
