You realize you're wanting to trade one over-sprung, under-valved coilover set for another right? Off the shelf BC BRs are terrible with this. They are god awful coilovers.

Please explain further. My main goal is to get a softer setup, but maintain full adjustability because my car will be a DD that may see some track time in the future. Instead of completely bashing my plans, how about you provide insight to other options? I have ridden in a wrx with BCs installed and thought they would be suitable for my setup.

BC BRs have no R&D at all in them. They are mixed-matched parts grabbed from a general parts bin and adapted to fit a certain vehicle. When spring rates and the valvings are not match you're going to get a poor, jolty ride that no amount of adjustment can fix, it will hurt handling, and it reduced the lifespan of the damper. I'm sure you knew this though considering what you posted on the topic in your 1st post. BC BRs without custom valving and springs will suffer from the same issues that are probably making you want to ditch the JICs. If you don't want this problem you're gonna need to go with something completely custom, whether it's the recommendation I gave above or a set of coilovers that are a setup up from anything BC or JIC puts out.

I'm also looking for a temporary relief from the stiff ride quality before I can dish out the cash to get a quality setup. I'm sure there are others interested in these because I've gotten a couple trade offers already. Thanks for the input.

BC BRs are not exactly higher tier, but with their stock spring rates, they are a lot more comfortable than my current setup. I'm pretty much catering to anyone that wants a stiffer suspension setup without spending any money. Win-win situation in this trade even if we both don't end up with the best coilover/suspension available.

I would look into some bilstein PSS9's if you want some nice DD coils.....my buddy has them and they feel great, are stiff, and give you the adjustable height you are looking for, just an idea. Free bump go! GLWT~

Thanks for the input. If I had the money, I'd definitely go that route. I heard a lot of good things about that setup. Unfortunately, I can't justify spending that much haha. That's why I'm looking to trade someone. Hopefully someone is looking for a stiffer, track setup and wouldn't mind trading their softer coils. Win-win if everything goes accordingly.
