Stock headlights replaced and tinted ones for sale $100 obo (seriously, make me an offer) still looking for tail and fog lights.


So the 02 WRX Wagon I got last night has the headlights and tails tinted with VHT Night Shades.

Not my style, looking to see if anyone wants to trade for stock before I just go ahead and buy another set.

Why don't you just wet sand the paint off yours?

 

The lenses are plastic right? Even the website says "Warning: Once applied to a plastic lens, VHT Nite-Shades™ cannot be satisfactorily removed."

You can wet sand them back to crystal clear. Ive even used acetone to take it off if its super thick and then wet sand and hit with rubbing compound then polish and they come out cherry.

 

Nice, Ive got a couple guys interested in swapping but I might do that if they all pass.

 

i've used vht on a few cars, if you want to remove it. Use gasoline, and just rub it off applying a small amount of gasoline everytime.
