I've got a 06 wrx 1-4 helical PPG gear box for sale but It might be a little more then your looking at getting into as you would have to swap out your rear end to get the 3.70 final drive. PM me If your at all Interested.

haha damn i wish i could pick this bad boy up but yea its a lot more then what id be looking for. i appreciate the offer tho
I have a 02 WRX tranny that's going to be pulled from my car by EQ on the 22nd, it has ~110k miles and is fully functional. When experiencing freeway driving for prolonged periods of time the 4th gear syncro gets a little angry but it was never a problem. I'm asking 800obo for it, I don't think I could do it less than 700 though. But if you're interested it's the cheapest around!

700 + 350 for synchros is cheaper than a new tranny, and the tranny runs fine in everyday driving. It's only something you'd notice when you're heating up the high gears for a long period of time. I had it looked at by a local transmission shop because I was going to have it replaced myself. He actually told me it wasn't worth doing yet as it wasn't really a problem.
