WTB: Uppipe for '05 WRX

I'm looking for an uppipe that will fit an '05 wrx. I want to keep it stock looking so pretty much only interested in a gutted stocker, STi or Bosal piece. Let me know what you got and how much.
Thanks!
Derek

If you're up for the job I have an actual '05 stocker that isn't yet gutted. Has about 15,000 on it and comes with an EGT probe, which you could use or remove. I kept the EGT probe for the ultimate stocker look, though some folk recommend you remove it. No studs since I had to transfer those to the replacement (in my case that was easy, YMMV).

I bought a stocker on Ebay, gutted it, and fitted it. Didn't want to have the downtime while I gutted my own. So I now I have that original '05 pipe going spare. You'd need to gut it: figure a couple of hours for that.

Yours for $50.

Hey Glider,

Thanks for the offer. I wanted to avoid actually gutting it myself. If nothing else comes up in the near future I'll hit you up.

Thanks,
Derek

No bother. I can certainly understand the wish to avoid doing the gutting bit. Also, as a friendly suggestion, given that you don't want to gut one I'd suggest you might also research having someone else do the fitting. That part I'd glady have paid $150 to have avoided. I did it solo and it was painful.

Get good gaskets, and I found that dremelling out a section of the manifold heatshield so you can get it off without removing the O2 sensor was a very useful tip. Had to take it off a couple of times more to re-torque, and with the channel in it it was trivial. The location of the O2 sensor makes it a little tedious to pop in and out.

Yeah, I'm debating whether to install the uppipe/downpipe myself or just take it somewhere. I'd most likely be doing it solo too. Thanks for the suggestion on the manifold heatshield. I'll add it to my notes!
