WTB: (NorCal) EJ251 Engine (2000-2001 2.5rs)
Since my last engine decided to die (spun bearing) I have decided the best course of action is to find a replacement to swap in.
I am looking for a complete engine (EJ251) from a 2000-2001 2.5rs, one that was in good running order prior to removal; and hopefully one without excessive millage.
Maybe someone just swapped and has their old engine. Maybe there is a vendor on these boards who is up to their eyes in engines. I just want to get the most reliable replacement I can!

Pick Ur Part in San Jo has an RS coupe that they are 'featuring' this weekend, looked like the motor is still intact.

My friend has a brand new 2.5 ej255 longblock for sale, a perfect starter upgrade if you decide to turbo your car - you can get the remaining parts from a USDM STi and make your car CA Smog legal.

hey bro.. just went to junkyard and the engine im assuming is still there. it pretty bad front accident. you might want to inspect it first.. btw its a a/t
