wtb: key fob for '05

Dealership wants an arm and leg for replacement key fob. Anyone have an extra one to sell? I'll have it reprogram at dealership which is $70. I'm in the south bay.

You can get it for around $50 from SGP and possibly try to program it yourself if you're adventurous

**Looks like the price went up a bit

remotes

I like these style remotes better

Lot of 2 Subaru Forester Outback Impreza WRX Legacy Baja Remote Key Less 99 06 | eBay

just because the other one has bigger and sensitive buttons that end up locking or unlocking without me knowing while its in my pocket.

having either remote, programming/linking the remote to your car is easy. I followed this:
Subaru Keyless remote programming instructions

Agreed, those are the better ones and what I have for mine. The new ones aren't as nice.

Thanks for the instructions. I purchased remote fobs from i-clubbers and reprogrammed via the instructions. Saved $70 for reprogramming from the dealer and a ton of money just for the remotes (Dealer wanted $170 for each replacement remote!).

The instructions to reprogram work for both the older "round remote" and newer "tear drop".

Thanks everyone!
