Wtb jdm ecu - or wtb road tune for hydra ecu
Hoping somebody has a jdm ecu laying around, I need to get my car running before I rage quit this car.
I have an 03 wrx with a a v9 motor in it. stock wrx wiring with some wires added for the avcs.
Pretty sure a v7 or v8 ecu, or even a jdm wrx ecu would be able to work for me.
I tried using a hydra ecu, but to no avail as it is in limp mode, my fans wont turn on, and it's just a very expensive brick to me at this point as my car can't even idle with the base map that was sent to me. HELP

Beacause reasons, I was looking into AVCS piggybacks, and for sure there's the Greddy V-Manage ($300-400).
MegaSquirt has a standalone valve timing unit for Miatas, but that's only 'single' DOHC, and using two for our cars is stupid, and moreover would be more expensive and complicated than the Greddy or even MicroSquirt.
A JDM ECU will do exhaust AVCS iirc, and you can repurpose the TGV wires/harness for this purpose. They show up on eBay and Nazicock now and again (I know this again, because reasons).
Will keep eyes and ears out, arms remaining securely inside vehicle at all times.
