I believe the torques are replica work emotion cr Kai. I don't believe they are forged and are a bit heavy but definitely strong wheels that can take a beating.

sho. ya when i have my sti (still debating stock or 500+, forged internals of course) i definately want wheels that i cant depend on. granted some say a track is flat and supposedly smooth, but that dont mean siht. a wheel that can handle the g's stress, heat, etc deff take high grade material and exceptional engineering. both of which i am completely content paying the good dollars for. until then, i am completely happy with my rota grids on my DD with ocassional hill runs.

only if you can't drive hitting those curbs, but then even Volks will fall apart

Driving around SF is pretty much like hitting curbs all day. I know a couple of people who have had cracks in their replica rims from daily driving in the city.
