Damn bro baller! Where'd you get them coils? Also BC AND Stance are all garbage same as Megan's and I believe buddy Club is made in the same factory but don't hold me to that. Rota's are indeed better then they use to be, ill leave it at that.

Haha I am no baller.

But OP, I tried to post two pics and ask you what you were aiming for and you never really said anything back?

@aznpride650... Someone posted a pic of how they hit like a cement brick on the freeway and their rota help up pretty well! surprised me.

Clearly you're glazing over my posts. I'm trying to be relatively informative.

The people that buy them aren't in a qualified position to give you a review as those who know about suspension design and can point out the biggest faults won't buy BC BRs. The only people that buy them are the people who are in for the warranty because they know they will break them or because all they see if the price and don't know any better about what makes a quality coilover. Generally speaking, BC BRs are practically put together from random parts from a parts bin. There is no R&D being done.

I'm currently on BCs and Rotas. That's how I know that they suck. I got them because I was a n00b and because I'm cheap. My car is heavily on one corner of the triangle and it's not very good at anything.

Ey bro, just keep researching. look at other ideas as well. BrFatal, well he's BrFatal. He for sure knows what hes talking about, but comes across as a bit harsh on the "help" BrFatal, dont argue with me, im sure everyone on IC can agree. YOu are a smart guy and know your ****, but portraying it on a public post...could use some work. enough with that.
As an example, and BRFatal im sure you remember this: ive been toying with diff spring rates to see what eachone is like. before even picking up the stiffer springs, BRFatal is telling me i shouldnt, and i should revalve, its going to be bouncy, bla bla bla. turns out he was 100% right about the rediculous bounce. i just wanted to try it on my own so i my self know from exp. onto the OP

Im running BC BR coilovers on Rota grids 18x9.5 et 38. Im pretty happy with my setup because
a) i havent experienced true track usage with my scoob
b) i know my budget, i know there are WAY better shocks out there, but as you said, its MY car, MY money, MY choice.

TImes are tough and Subarus are not necessarily a vehicle to have if you dont have somewhat of a disposable income.

AGAIN, OP is setting up his scoob for DD. doesnt seem like any track super agressive driving will take place. I know when i hace my STI heart in, im upgrading to top notch coils.

Good luck with everything, dont get stumped on one thread pretty much gone way off topic. my first coilovers were Megans. at the time they were ****in awesome! then i got BC's and guess what, theyre ****in awesome! what ever coil i get next im sure itll be ****IN AWESOME> can u see where im getting at?

EVERYONE HAS THEIR STYLE, BUDGET, VISON. Hope you get your scoob lookin like u want GL

OP

1. If you are on a budget get BC or Stance. I had stance on my old 8thgen civic and loved it. Now im on BC BR extreme low kit on my scoob and its fine. Does what it needs to do for me as a daily driver. I wish i had some really nice coils but hey working minimum wage aint gonna pay for 1800 coils and other mods unless i wait a year which i had no interest in doing. im quiet happy with my bcs for the price. cant beat them.

2. you havent said what kind of stance you want but assuming you want your car to be driveable and still sorta flush i would get 18x9.5 +38 wheels and wrap them in a 235/35 tire. you will be stretched but not too stretched and still be able to be low and flush.

damn! When my friend crashed my mr2 he barely nicked a rim and they crumbled to pieces. I know rota is getting better but just not sure how well they are now. My friend had some LC's on his BMW 3/4 of the rims were cracked one had like 5-6 cracks in it. He just dailys that car no harsh driving etc.

that would be the best, most people buy replica's because they look at the style and like the style but there is in fact a lot of R&D that goes into building a quality set of wheels. Like Volk for example the wheels are Forged and can withstand virtually anything vs a rota that even with daily driving can get damaged.
