I had both isc and bc coils, they suck for DD. very rough. Tein flex now and it's so smooth and comfy for only $200 more. Save up and get something decent.

If you want cheap, Megan's have good adjustability but rides like the car is sitting on rocks.

For what it's worth, bc br are not that bad - they aren't good but they aren't that bad. Most people talking bad about them haven't driven on them and are talking from hearsay or having driven someone else's car with them in a limited experience

I bought bc br used (gasp!) With 9k miles and ran them for 60k, yes 60000 miles with only one issue (had to retighten the top nut it came loose one time but never came back)

The guy I sold them to is still using them without a rebuild...after that many miles they are still serviceable, albeit bouncy as fck

With all that being said, I wont ever own another set because they aren't good for really driving fast to the full ability. Yeah, you can hit twisties and race them if you want but they will be holding you back from peak performance.

Now I'm on speedtech st coilovers with groupn top hats and I will never go back to bc/megan whatever, although they were worth it at the time...my st with the new tops was $1325 shipped from a nasioc vendor so that's not even that much more than brand new bc br

My bc used was $700 though, and for 60k miles of mostly highway driving there wasn't a better, cost effective option- hated them in the city streets though

And im just going to say this once because i feel like they are your best option......

Buy the guys ST coilovers.
High end cars like audi and bmw use them for aftermarket suspension as they are a european style damper.
They will be one of the best rides youll get for your money and will offer plenty of stroke as they are european and not japanese.
Kw makes them and they are one of the best suspension companies in the world.

And for ultimate comfort, install your stock tophats on them.

Just my .02

But i think you are throwing away money if you are on a budget and decide to buy some bc's or isc's over those nicer ST's.
Give them a look over again and read reviews.
