Hey guys, I'm stuck without a car right now... I am looking for a scoob, Legacy, Impreza or even a Forester. AWD only, 5-speed prefered (unless its a legacy turbo), and must be under $6500 (under $4500 prefered)...
If anyone has any leads, let me know...

It would have to be a 98 RS via private sale with 8million miles... but its possible.

Its riskier, but I'd check ebaymotors often. Thats where I got mine! Theres a fair selection and if you have it inspected (or they do) (its only like 50 bucks, a small price for the information provided) there should be v ery little risk. And keep in mind that its only about 200-400 from anywere in the US to have it shipped. Thats just how I'd do it though. GOOD LUCK

Hmm, looking for a car eh? Well, my '96 silver Legacy L AWD 5 spd is going up for sale here shortly if you're still interested.
It's got just over 117K miles, interior's in great condition, I've taken good care of it, and am going to replace the clutch probably this week. It's wired for subs but I don't think I'm going to let the 2 kenwood 10's go with it. Besides the Kenwood deck, it's stock. I'm looking for close to $5k for it which I think is reasonable. If you're interested drop me a line and I'll shoot you a link with some pics,

I tried finding some Imprezas, but they were automatic. Bleh. There was a late 90's L that looked like a nice candidate for a swap, but yea, it was an auto.
