im looking for a WRX 5 speed with broken gears that i can start my transmission build up on. the front diff and center diff need to be problem free. just lookin for one where someone TKO's the gears. i wont spend a ton, im a cheap *** and im in no rush. LOL. let me know what you got!

 

I got a 1996 Impreza L' transmission that has bad gears and synchros. 150k + miles - probably only good for a few parts here and there - will get rid of it ultra cheap - let me know - tks

 

i know nothing about the older imprezzas. is this the same as a WRX trans?

I have one, in pieces. shredded 2nd gear. Deede has access to it in my storage unit, unless you want to wait 45days until I get back. Looking for $400. Let me know.

I can go cheaper. I forgot, $400 also includes a good rear diff. I can go cheaper if you just want the tranny though.

I also have a WRX tranny, but it still works, just the syncros in 1st are a little more notchy than they should be. Just thought you might want to know.
