WTB: Boost Control Solenoid Hoses

Hey everyone,

The hoses connecting to my boost control solenoid have become really brittle; one has already snapped lol. Does anyone know the OEM part # or if you have any new hoses please let me know. Thanks!

take the ones currently off that are brittle go to your local hardware store and get the same size. as long as you get some that arent cheaply made.

I actually have the exact parts for this, but you probably don't want them. The factory replacement hose is quite expensive. It took too long to get the parts in once I ordered them so I went to Winchester Auto and bought some hose for $0.59 a foot and it works just fine. You will most likely also need the little barbed fittings, so just get at least 2 of them at the same time. Oh, and do all of the hoses at the same time too, if one is cracked, the others are too. I even have some of the right size hose left over from Winchester if you want that, I think I bought 3 ft, and might have one or two of the barbed fittings too.

Thanks for the info bro! Umm in that case I'll probably just head over to Winchester then. Do you know the diameter of the hose? And yeah I'm gonna swap them all out.

You dont need another car. If they are that bad, cap off the line from the BCS to the inlet, and run a piece of that hose from the compressor straight to the wastegate It will throw a code but it will go away quick enough. Stock are pretty small...1/4 or 3/16 ID.

Just make sure you keep the piece with the restrictor pill (compressor side before the T). Hey this sounds like a great time to run a 3 port solenoid

Yeah, I drove to Winchester with the hose disconnected. Just keep it below boost and it will be OK (depending on how far you have to go, I only live a block away )

Yea man at this point id just get a buddy to drive you to winchester or do what aboothman suggested. Brand new OEM hoses would be ideal but it will take too long to get those and they'll cost a lot more.
