Looking for a set of 17" rims for my girlfriend's car (04 2.5RS). We plan on getting them powdercoated so in all honesty we are looking for the most beat up (paint wise), or spray painted, gross colored wheels you guys have. Not really interested in rims with a ton of curbage/cracks, unless you're willing to let them go for pretty much nothing.

Also, don't have a ton of cash, so if you're interested in a set of 02 WRX wheels with Falken Azenis 615's with about 30-40% tread left, let me know and I'm sure I can throw some cash in with them (abeit not alot).

Dan, I've got some Rota VXR's that are currently rattlecanned black - they're 17x7.5 ET35, so they sit about where a 17x8 does on the fender side. They've got some snow tires mounted that have a season or so left in them; if you want to get the tires stripped off and give 'em back at some point I can give them to you for 250- what I paid, or $300 if you want the tires.

They're up at my parents place in Placerville - I can grab them next weekend, or this week if its urgent.

They're a "similar style" (being political) to the Sparco NT-R's I have on my STi - they're "very similar".......I don't have pics of them but they have no curbing or damage, just some paint chips.

Wow..those are REAL thin!!! And a really low offset too. Might accelerate wheel bearing wear a little more than I want to deal (aka repair myself) with as they will be daily driven.

I'll keep em in mind tho.

 

I hear you on the offset - on a narrower wheel it's less of a concern, and the Rota spokes are slightly thicker. The wheel bearing wear is more of an old wive's tale that dates tot he original GC rear hubs; you'll do more damage with sticky tires than a .5" offset change and the newer cars use a more robust Legacy-style bearing from what I understand.

Regardless, around if ya want them after looking at other options

I got some rota sdr 17x7.5 +48 grey metallic in a relatively good condition. Also have some 235/45/17 federal 595s on them.
Looking to get 350 for the wheels or 600 for everything.
