FS: 17x8 Dual Drilled (5x100 AND 5x114.3) Winter/Beater Rims w Tires. Need them gone!
As the title state, I need to get rid of my old winter/beater wheels and tires. I have just moved to a new appartment and got tired having them take up space.
Wheels: 17x8 +48 5x100 AND 5x114.3 (Dual Drilled) Raze R74, gold with polished lip. These will fit BOTH STi and WRX. There is fair amount of cosmetic curb rash from all the (surprise) winter driving back when I lived in Chicago and general daily beating. I have bought these new about 2.5 years ago and they probably have seen about 25,xxx miles of use.
Tires: 225/17/45 Hankook Icebear W300 Tires. I cannot recall exact mileage, but they were purchased and used on and off since December of 2006. I will say there is about 40-50% of tread left. These are excellent in the snow as I have driven through many Chicago winter blizzards without having as much as a worry about traction. I also had several i-Clubbers borrow them for Tahoe runs and they did not have any complains either. I have daily driven and auto-xed (only twice..don't ask) this tire here as well and dry traction is surprising for what is supposed to be a dedicated winter tire.
I will upload more pics tonight, but here is how the set up looked on my WRX. SOLD!!!

The thing that I could use is wheels with good winter tires, do you still think they will be safe with lots of snow on the ground?

You got 3 or 4 people ahead of you, but I am keeping a list just in case.
Haha as I said in the original post, I have driven with these through some pretty bad Chicago blizzards, snowstorms and winters (2-3 feet of snow, negative degree temps before windshield factor, etc) as well as trips in Colorado and Wisconsin without worrying much about traction (obviously as long as one does not get stupid overconfident with them). Overall , this has been a great tire from my personal experience.
Here are some reviews...

This would be last case scenario partly because of the hassle involved for me and partly because of the cost, which I would need to pass on the buyer to make it worth my time.

Thanks for the interest Matt, but a sale is currently pending and there are couple people ahead of you with the same interest if it falls through. You wouldn't want me to be unfair to all those members, now would you?

I'll build another one as some point, its just a car afterall
Matt, I'll keep you posted.
