There's a sedan and a coupe on CL right now. The silver coupe is the one that is on here...

Thanks, I've seen both. To me... the price doesn't equal the condition, so I'm waiting it out.

Less then a month ago I found three RS' that were 110-130k with the major maintenance done, receipts, tasteful mods or completely stock, plus more for 6k MAX. I probably won't find something like that again, but I gotta be proactive and patient about it!

You will find one. They come around several times a year. Just keep watching the classifieds here, on RS25, and Craigslist. Look in Oregon too. Don't buy into the hype. "My poorly maintained, beat up piece of **** is 'rare', so you need to pay $8k for it"

I definitely will not, or at least I hope so. I search here, nasioc, rs25, and Criagslist via autotempest.com (in order to search ALL craigslist at once).

Has anyone ever purchased an out of state car? What kind of fees am I looking at paying to get it registered in California? I know there's a website, but I'd like some numbers. It'll be different each scenario, but how much did you end up paying the DMV... $1000, less, or more? If it matters, the car is in Oregon.

Thanks.

No different than buying a car in CA. You pay sales tax where you register it.
