I did indeed, thank you! If I can find a catback for a decent price I'll definitely take you up on it, but I need both pieces.

 

What they are saying is you will pass smog with the TBE on. Just change out the DP and yu will be good.

 

What hes saying is he has a proprietary jdm length downpipe so he would need a full turbo back. Simply cannot be changed out unless he has an adapter.

Thank you, this is exactly right. The JDM DP's are shorter than US ones, so my JDM length catback won't bolt up to an OEM US DP.

I appreciate everyone trying to help, honestly I do, my RS exists as it sits right now because of a lot of help from the local Subie community and I'm extremely grateful for it, but I've been jumping through these smog hoops with this car since 2004 and know what I need/want for my setup.

So who's got a stock STi TBE(or STi CBE so I can snag Heedz DP and help us both out) lying around that they want gone???
