Exclamation wrx transmision needed!!!

Hey everyone....1st. gear on my wrx is blown and i'm looking for a cheap but reliable fix. I figure that a used stock tranny would be the cheapest thing but i can't find any. If anyone has any advice or a tranny for sale...please let me know! Thanks!

im about to swap my 5spd for a 6spd but my tranny only has 4000 miles so it probably wont be what youre looking for price wise. fine line imports in santa rosa might be able to come up wtih something too.

We may not be the cheapest route either, but we have one sitting here. We may also have some other options too.

Antioch,

I take it you didn't grow up in the city. Lots of people who grew up in the city call it that. I just call it the city or SF never say the full name.

jdmstiguy- definitely call up the local shops monday. They should have them at a way better price with install than the dealer.

I also say "es ef" or "the city", but I don't know anyone who lives in the area who calls it "frisco". The only people that I have heard refer to SF as Frisco, don't live here.
