Once you register the car back in California it will show a salvage title but as of now I think it has a Colorado title that's is "clean" I don't know the full story but on carfax it says it has a salvage title.

Oh yes you have! Remember the white wagon??? Haha! In my experience autocheck is more accurate when dealing with non-California cars history. Carfax is well marketed leading most to believe they are 100% accurate on the history of every vehicle.. Obviously not the case. I bought a subie in Utah a few months back.. Being ignorant I saw a clean carfax on a 2006 wagon with 27k on the odometer.. Got home and had vlad did some tuning and realized the car in fact didnt have 27k ( more like 127k after running compression test) an had major frame damage. I took it to carmax for an apraisal and they ran the autocheck history and lo in behold salvage title washed rebuilt title flood damage frame damage an repo history all popped up.. I learned my lesson an 2 days later i got lucky that a local subaru dealer was as ignorant as i was about the wagon. I traded it in for more than i payed and ended up in a 2012 hatch.. But that's a story for another day.. Use autocheck and carfax.. Between the two u might get some truths about the history of cars.
