this came out of an 05 legacy spec b. i bought the block then just to be on the safe side i took it apart and found out it had a spun bearing. nothing bad though. my neighbor who used to work in a machine shop said it could just be polished. i might have pictures of it still but im not sure, if not, if someone wants to buy it i could always take it apart again so they could check it out before i sell it. i dont want to do anybody dirty. i got STi rods to put in it as well. the heads are DUAL avcs. BUT the guy who i got them from didn't plug the cams properly and the exhaust cams seized. he did take them into a machine shop and they said the heads were fine it was just the exhaust cams. so i just got 06 STi cams to put in instead which is better in a way because the factory cams were low lift and the sti are high lift, but the sti are single avcs and these heads are dual avcs. i do have the cam gears, sensors and exhaust block off plates for them so either way you want to do it you can make it work. from what i've read, the heads come with titanium valves springs and retainers and the valves are 1mm over factory STi. someone from gruppe-s got their hands on one and took it apart, there's a write up on it on nasioc but i've also read up on it on other places too. i was gonna swap this all in my impreza this summer but now it seems as if im moving at the beginning of summer and have no place to do the swap now so now im debating whether i want to sell everything i own. im pretty sure i am though. i have no idea how much this stuff is worth. i know my buddy i got the heads from said he spent 1500 for the heads alone but that was without the cams being F'd up. i was gonna polish the crank and put ACL bearings in it but i honestly dont know if itd be worth the work if im only gonna break even. if someone could let me know what you think this is worth cuz i honestly dont know. thank you!
