Testing the waters - '78 VW convertible bug.
White car, black top and interior. Not sure on mileage, I'll check tonight.
My dad wants his garage more than his baby. He told me to take it, but I'm not sure if I want to keep it or get rid of it since they changed the smog rules. Single owner garaged it's whole life. The stereo, shift ****, brake lever cover, and the visors are not original. Front seats were re-upolstered (overstuffed IMO). I don't have any of the original parts if you wanted them. The top is original and has a few tears and will need to be replaced if not garaged. None are bigger than maybe 6" at the biggest. Some of seals could probably use replacing. But like I said, this car has never spent a night outdoors.
I'm no expert on VW's, but this is a relatively clean car. Body is clean and the engine used to be meticulously cleaned by our neurotic mechanic. I'll try to get pic's up later in the week.
