Doughboy,
not a prob, I was just answering the question WRX17 had.
bone stock car, with the reflash as its only mod is going to get approx 195 whp and approx 200 ft/lbs torque every car is going to vary slightly, and there will be a few more for minor mods etc.
thanks!

Nate, I already sense their next question:
For a stock WRX, what is the average net gain in power compared with stock?

I had Nate reflash my car a few weeks ago, and my car is a little more than mildly modified. I gave him a car slightly more difficult to tune than usual, I'm running a larger turbo with the stock injectors and pump. Nate took his time, made methodical changes, and explained things to me step by step. Hell, Nate even let me take the car for a spin before buttoning everything up and calling it done. And to my knowledge, my car was the first customer reflash.

Wow, so stock WRX's with the reflash are looking at a HP increase in the range of 35hp? That's not bad... How are things like gas mileage and reliability affected?

Reliablilty is fine as we make sure to tune safley, on a stock car you dont want to push too hard otherwise your egt's and intake temps will skyrocket. The only time reliability would be a concern is if you request an aggressive tune.
hope that answers it for ya, if not let me know.

My brother paid about $3k for the Vortech supercharger on his 5.0 liter Mustang for about the same net gain in power. The turbo EJ20 lends itself well to tuning and EcuTek is a very good tool to tune with.
It is a much better solution than either a manual boost controller or an electronic one because those don't enrich fuel to compensate for any additional boost. The EcuTek system is also capable of tuning to a much higher resolution than most of the other fuel enrichment add-ons for anywhere near the price so this means that dips in the torque curve can be made much smoother for better overall power and acceleration.

Either way we have been getting very good results with the road tune.
Thanks,
Nate
