Also you might want to find a different company than red cross. Its been said they pay out expenses and staff etc before final donation price. They are many other organizations out there that actually give more of the money if the first place. Just an idea so japan receives as much as they can. It's good to see all the help baic does in time of tragedy!!

IMHO, operating expenses are part of recovery efforts. They have to be able to run their trucks, fly their planes, and maintain their buildings in order to help those in need.

I don't know if this is it but it was posted here a while ago. Here are a list of the new laws that were passed.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/traff...fornia2011.asp

VC 26708 $178 Unlawful material on vehicle windows

People mod their cars how they want and it just goes with you pay to play rule. Even before the laws it all depended on the cops discretion anyhow. I am in no way saying this is good or bad idea or people shouldn't buy these. It's cool you guys are trying to do things to help out japan. I just searched this article because someone had brought it up and I remembered these were new laws as of 2011.

That is very true I'm just saying other organizations tend to release more of the donations. Either way do what you want was just idea to look into.

Btw like the banner! I will have to see about getting one, just don't put me on the list just yet. How long do we have to decide?

california as a state is allowed a 7 inch windshield tint/ sticker, alameda and contra costa have limited this to 4inches on the windshield. also note CHP allows none on the windshield or front windows. so if your on the freeway its completely different than on city streets for tint or stickers. its not often enforced but knowing the law is always your friend

I don't know if it's been asked yet, but is putting it on the back window an option? Would it fit? Would the curvature be the same? Just a thought if your worried about legality.
