Atom D510 CPU 2GB RAM 640GB disk Nvidia ION2 graphics (HDMI and VGA out) Card reader Fast Ethernet LAN 802.11n wireless Fanless Fresh Ubuntu 11.10 server install Excellent for light web surfing or home server duty. Excellent for light web surfing or home server duty. Works OK as an HTPC, but struggles to playback 1080P smoothly.

Just curious, did you use the nvidia gpu for video decoding? If not, that may explain the struggle for 1080 playback.

I did. ION2 isn't as good as it ought to be at video decoding.

Supposed to be, but actually not (at 1080p). Box is fine for general use, but I didn't want someone buying it thinking, "Oooh, ION, I'll stick a blu-ray drive in it..."
