I'm sure Erick is just saying he is about to get some oil at a good price and wanted to share his luck. He is probably NOT making any money on it, just trying to be nice and help local members. Get off FLI's nuts. You don't want any then don't buy any from Erick. Sorry, I dislike people who bug nice people for no reason.
But i did order a little extra, would not mind to share it with you if youreally need oil.

It's oil... assuming proper starting viscosity, it lubricates with minimal friction. There's certainly additive packages (e.g. detergents) that will vary, just like in gasoline, but that's probably not a good factor to base a decision on deciding factor. Beyond that, the question is how well it holds up over time. Is Amsoil better? Maybe. Are you going to notice a difference? Not without a UOA (lab testing), to say whether it was still doing its job when you drained it.
MonsterGC, sounds like a good price. I actually just sent off a sample of some Motul for a UOA, will be awaiting results, may hit you up for a jug or two.

IMHO, UOA's for other engines are of limited use; some applications may be particularly harsh on an oil, others may be fine. E.g. the amount of unpleasantness towards "regular" Mobil 1 5w30, with reports of the EJ20/EJ25 engines burning off a fair bit, whereas it seems to do well in most other applications. As always, Your Mileage May Vary.
